A day at the Boardwalk in Bossier

Shea was invited to a back-to-school party at Sweet Designs on the Boardwalk. They give all the kids cupcakes and lets them decorate them, right up Shea's alley. Gage looked like he was really into that decorating.
Emma has her cupcake all decorated but Katlyn is still working on her creation.
Mia and Sydney Elizabeth stop for a brief moment to pose for the camera.
Mia's blue monster cupcake and her blue tongue. I think she decorates like me, but some icing on the cupcake, eat a bite, put some icing on the cupcake, eat a bite...you get the picture!!
Shea decorated a pink monster. Pretty cute!!
The owner of Sweet Designs showed the kids how to make different things out of the fondant. Here, she is showing Shea how to make a penguin.
She is really concentrating on this. She loves watching "Cake Boss" and "Cake Wars".
Look at the next little cake boss and her very first penguin.
Katlyn and Jayden are finished with their cupcakes.
And Gage finally got all cleaned up. Can you imagine how messy cupcakes are with all that icing?
A trip to the Boardwalk with Shea has to include a trip to Build-A-Bear, that's just a rule, you know. I love that place as much as Shea, lucky for her. Conveniently, it was only a few doors down from Sweet Designs. When we got there after the cupcake party, Jayden was there trying to find her a new furry friend.
Two happy little girls. Shea with her rabbit and Jayden with her bear.
Of course, they have to have a bath before you can take them home.
So another school year begins. Shea started at a new school this and she really likes it. She truly does miss all her friends from Summerfield though. She knew most of the girls in her class already from either dancing or softball so it wasn't a hard transition for her.
See ya later,
Charlene
