Christmas with the Smith Bunch

This picture was made at night from the road in front of mama's house. Randy had his fence lit up and it was so pretty. I couldn't get a really good picture, but you get the idea.

We always go to Mama's house Christmas day. With my family and all my brothers families it makes for a noisy, chaotic, FUN day.

I don't get pictures of Daniel Wayne very often but I got a good one here.

It's not very often all the Smith folks get together in one place. All we needed was Donna's crew. Now that's a lot of people for just 5 children.

Time to open presents. Now this is where things get crazy at Mamaw's house.

Mamaw Mary with all her grandchildren except for Donna's kids, they weren't able to make it on Christmas day. Please notice John David had his tongue stuck out. (I'm gonna choke him one day and it will be justified)

It's so hard to get a picture of this group but at least John David didn't stick out his tongue.

So, it's only taken me four months to get the Christmas post done. On to the next one.

Christmas Morning 2009

Not only did Santa get treats this year but so did the reindeer. Santa's treat wasn't as healthy as the reindeer because according to Shea, "reindeer don't like cookies".

Santa found our house yet again.

Stockings were all filled. Ginger even got one this year.

It has been four months since Christmas and that Wii she just HAD to have has not been played in about 2 months. Oh well, it's here if she wants to play, I guess.

Kacie spent Christmas with us this year so Santa had to drop off her presents here. Kacie, Zach and Shea were busy opening presents.

Zach was surprised to see that Santa brought him a laptop.

A Wii Fit Plus to go with the Wii. I haven't played it yet because when Zach step on the step the darn thing moaned like it was hurt. It might run screaming if I step up on it...haha

Ginger didn't think she was getting enough attention so she had to bring her bunny right up in the middle of the gifts.

Shea finally found a pearl in an oyster. There was an real oyster in a can that had a pearl in it. You have to find the pearl and put it in the necklace that came with it. Every time we go eat seafood she wants me to order oysters to see if I can find a pearl.
